"I love every second that we stayed here. Everything checks our ideal vacation. Quiet, secluded w/ a beautiful view. Our older dog is non aggressive reactive so every year I try to find us a secluded place where he could enjoy too. This is definitely the top of the most beautiful place we’ve ever stay. Made my birthday/ family trip extra special. Ms Karen was a great host! Will definitely stay here again.. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines, this property is set in a very quiet and secluded neighborhood near Lake Watauga. Its very cozy inside with multiple fireplaces and enough rooms to spread out when visiting with large groups. The hot tub is located in a perfect spot to provide some privacy. We spent a warm afternoon outside grilling and making s'mores in the fire pit. The house is located about half an hour from a proper grocery store in Elizabethton so stock up while your out. We...

"Overall we had a great time! Communication with the host prior to our trip was great. I had difficulty viewing messages and never received a return call regarding suggestions on parking multiple cars since the driveway is very steep. I was thankful a light was left on downstairs since I arrived late by myself and the solar lights outside had already turned off. "Nice quaint and clean small cabin at a good price point. Perfect for just me and near to where I was having meetings. Probably just me, but didn't realize it was a duplex, upstairs and downstairs are separate units"

"While nothing fancy, this is a solid, affordable place to stay while visiting Johnson City. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and efficient. The price is their best feature. I’ve never paid more than $100 per night, including taxes. Highly recommend."
