"I stayed at Selina/Socialtel San Jose for about a week until the 28th of January 2025 and my Spirit Animal for the stay was a Sloth because I did mostly nothing in the morning, then took a rest in the afternoon. One might not think this a feasible feat in a city such as San Jose. But, I accepted the challenge and made good on it. Mae, aquí pulseándola! "No tuvimos contacto directo con el personal del lugar sin embargo siempre hubo comunicación y apoyo vía mensaje con ellos. A la noche es mejor no salir cerca. Útil si usaras la terminal de buses ya que queda muy cerca. "

"Helpful staff; beautiful courtyard; great location."

"This place is CLOSED yet hotels.com keeps offering it online. I booked through hotels.com as part of my trip and when I got their and the hotel was no longer in operation, and it was a nightmare dealing with hotels.com. They are pushy and it is a mess. When I started demanding my money back, a pushy person who spoke broken English called to sell me ANOTHER hotel, but refused to give me my money back. I am realizing hotels.com is a racket."

"Very friendly staff who were super accommodating — they extended checkout time by 90 minutes when I needed to work remotely from a quiet place. The breakfast was nice -- make-your-own eggs and pancakes -- and the common areas were great to hang out in. One word of caution: They didn't have a record of my Expedia reservation when I arrived, so if at all possible, call and confirm they've received it."

"My stay at the Radisson was good. Close proximity to the airport and downtown San Jose. The property room is big and clean compare to be being 30 years old. Cleaning service came every day to clean and provided enough towels each day. The staff were amazing, every single one of them. I was not too impress with the food, but that was not just the food at the hotel but the food in general. I would definitely stay at this hotel again "

"Nice new hotel. Comfortable and clean. We were not happy with the arrangement for pick-up at the airport. No listing for HGI although other hotels were named on signage; we had multiple people trying to hustle us to take rides with them. Thankfully HGI shuttle driver eventually showed up and explained to us that he'd be back soon to pick us up (the hustlers kept saying (lying) that it would take 45 mins for him to return). HGI should have very clear signage at the airport and they should proactively communicate with arriving guests to make sure to only take a ride with the HGI shuttle"

"We stayed here the days of our arrival and departure from SJO. Perfect for our needs. Super clean room and facilities. Recognizing they are far from town, they offer dinner and bar service in the evening. Having a nice cocktail and dinner in our room was a relaxing way to end our day."
