Take non-slip slippers with you as the wood floors were very slippery if you walked on them when wearing just socks. Otherwise we really liked this apartment. "We were bird hunting in the UP with my dog. Hosts were very nice, friendly and really wanted to make sure we were comfortable. On first impression it's a bit more civilized than our typical hunting camp. Overall, very nice, comfortable beds and furniture, we slept well after a hard day in the woods. We didn't spend any real daylight time there checking out the lake or anything. Overall, great stay. There's always a few quirks but for us it was great! Thanks"

"This house was perfect for my family plus It was somewhat close to everything. It was only 40mins from Marquette and 30mins or so to Gladstone. We were able to explore all kinds of waterfalls, Lake Superior, and much more that the U.P has to offer all while being fairly close to where we were staying.
