"The property is nice but definitely an old building. Also the windows had cracks in them, bed wasn’t the most comfortable thing I’ve slept in but it gets the job done. Cleaning fees are a bit much on this property. There’s no central AC and only had two AC units which one of the bedrooms didn’t have one. And the door was hanging off the hinges. All of that can be good a side though. Check in process was easy, neighborhood was nice, location to Peoria was decent, it is equipment with everything...

"This place worked out very well for my stay in Peoria. It was convenient for getting to the highways, but also had a Kroger and Wal-Mart close by as well. The place was clean and had everything I needed, and my cat adjusted well to staying there for 5 days. I would definitely consider this place again to stay in Peoria."

So new in fact the new paper towel holder in the kitchen hadn’t been mounted yet, and the new Roku tv hadn’t been set up. All that was good and well. "Fantastic stay here in Bartonville. They thought of everything, and it was so incredibly welcoming. The ONLY caution is that I'm not sure the couch would really be considered a "pullout," since it really just folds flat like a futon, so I may not be able to bring my teens with me to comfortably sleep here next time. But there's so much room and the kitchen is fully equipped for making meals – it might just be a matter of requesting the air mattress for the extra sleeping space. 😊"

"The property owners were very nice and helpful. Check-in was easy. The reference in the listing to a picnic on the beach seems mis-leading. You do have a nice view over the river and we had a pretty sunset but no beach. The house looks nicer in the pictures than in person although it is large and accommodated our needs. "Great place to stay. The Manor House was located in a private setting in the woods on a secluded road on top a scenic hilltop along the Illinois river valley. Checking in was easy and accommodating. The Manor House was stocked with everything you will need for your stay. The decor was unique and well kept. The house was clean in every aspect.
