"We spent 2 nights at the talardy in the run up to Christmas. I know the location well and is convenient access to the north wales trunk road. Our room was a decent size set up for a family of 2 adults and separate single beds for our children. It was clean with all the usual amenities. It wasn't in the room but ironing board and iron are also available on request. The bathroom was good with decent shower/bath and always hot water. Minor snags were our key cards were resetting in the morning...

"Lovely quaint inn with loads of character. Staff were friendly and polite. fast check-in. Good choice of evening menu. Quality of food was really good. On a negative note, stayed in room 16 which has a very noisy toilet mulcher which makes a very loud grinding noise when flushing the toilet or even just running a tap. "

"Good location - staff friendly and helpful - room lightening very dull to read anything only bathroom light bright - no lifts only stairs - beds were small I was frightened to turn over incase I fell out of bed - seems an old building g needs a refurb to modernise it - windows didn’t open to stay open enough to get signing and radiators in a timer room very warm- otherwise it served the purpose glad we only stayed 1 night "

"One night stay along with our 15yr old son. All 3 of us stayed in the same room which was very spacious, set out lovely and very clean. We were impressed with the decor and fealt comfortable right from first entering. Yes it could do with a bit of an update but nothing to worry about at all. "Great stay , comfortable room.. i would suggest the family room would have been better placed into the double and single bed room as there room has much more space and with 1 double 1 single in there seemed alot of space wasted .. no window to open in the family room , with 4 people in there an open window would be great. The fire exit green light in the bedroom is WAY to bright. Overall lovely decor , clean room , friendly staff.. Thank you "

"Checked in to the premises for an overnight stay. We were met by a tall young woman who was very welcoming and friendly and I was invited to complete details into a machine, then asked to pay the cost of the accommodation there and then. I explained that I had already done so with Hotels.com.Our room was situated over the bar area. The room was an adequate clean twin bedded space. Two large towels had been provided (not bath sized) that carried the odour of being dried inside and my partner...

"Worst experience ever at a hotel. To begin with we were handed the wrong keys for our rooms and given NO keys for entry into the actual building. This absolutely ruined the weekend as we were forced to sleep on the streets. We woke up and returned to the hotel with a cold and was given no apology or explanation just was told the door is now fixed and to turn the handle the other way. Fantastic stay

"First time we have stayed at the hotel and it’s safe to say we were not disappointed. Staff are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming and the hotel’s facilities are excellent. The breakfast is really good and there is plenty to choose from, also the free secure parking is excellent and an added bonus. The restaurant is excellent and they have some great offers on for residents, the hotel offered a New Year’s Eve party special which was a 3 course meal with a glass of Prosecco and was very well priced. Chester city centre is a 5 minute walk which is ideal and if you walk along the canal path there’s a great pub 3 minutes away called the Harkers Arms. We enjoyed the hotel that much we have already booked for New Year’s Eve this year and we can recommend this hotel highly. Also our room was cleaned every day with the towels replaced every day, all together we had a fantastic 3 nights and the staff were first class."

STUNNING TREAT !!!

"Genuinely warm welcome from Jon at Concierge and Reception staff. Superior Double Room was beautifully appointed and huge. We enjoyed an incredibly reasonably priced Afternoon Tea followed by an expertly crafted cocktail in the sumptuous bar. Breakfast was a stunning spread and beautifully presented and flavoursome with top quality meats and eggs on offer. Particularly enjoyed the quirky smoothies !! BRAVO TITANIC HOTEL "
