"A good offering for a cheap hotel. Rooms are quite small but the bed was comfortable enough. I would recommend brining your own shower gel though as the sachet the hotel provides is not very good. Would use this property again. "

"Wonderful location, walkable, 10 min from train station easy access through park, quiet, safe. Room was impressive, 2 bathrooms one with bathtub, kettle, lovely sitting area in room. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, plenty of options. Would recommend more coffee machines, always a line up!!! Would stay here again!!!!"

"Good unless you have a heavy luggage and have the 4th floor. No elevator to 4th, needed to take it to 3rd with my heavy luggage up and back down. They also gave me 2 shampoo bottles instead of shampoo+body wash. "

"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. "Bearing in mind that it was a Youth Hostel and not a hotel, we were very happy with our accomodation. The room was large and had a fridge which was a big plus for us. The beds were comfortable and everything in the en-suite bathroom worked well. The only downside was a lack of electrical sockets - there were two in the room and the fridge had to be plugged into one of them but we managed by charging a power bank when we were out and using that to charge mobile phones.
