"This is a very clean property in a good area. One block from the river. The room was very spacious. Some music coming in from the outdoor venue opposite, but nothing problematic just be aware. Breakfast is available for five dollars with a nice selection. The hotel staff were very kind. "There is a great write up in the recent Lonely Planet Guide about Murray Guesthouse being a wonderful addition to the Chau Doc accommodation options... a great guest lounge, roof terrace, bar, pool table and great breakfast. Sadly no longer... none of these exists! Instead we had a poor welcome, accusing us of having cancelled, the bedside lights didn't work, our friend had no toilet paper or a toilet that flushed. It is very cheap to stay there and it is clean, but that is it."
