"The property is undoubtedly small. It was very clean and comfortable - a perfect base for exploring this wonderful area. Plenty of grocery stores and pubs/restaurants in surrounding area. A very steep narrow staircase leading to the second level of the property. I note this has been mentioned in other reviews too. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the property."

"The house was nice. It suffered from overheating due to VERY hot summer days and inadequate insulation (may be a problem in winter) and was difficult to ventilate (needs opening windows to rear and some fans). Location is good for getting to shops etc but being in the back yard of a pub is a bit noisy (brewery vans at 8am, drunks at 1130pm). The garage MUST be used to avoid blocking the yard but its door is rather a squeeze for a large-ish family car (Mazda CX5). Leather sofas not ideal, and...

"This was a nice property to house us four adults and 4 teenagers. It is a 10/15 min walk to central Keswick. Kitchen was well equipped and good number of bath rooms. Rooms were clean and bedding nice. The sanitary wear is a little dated but functional."

"We all enjoyed staying in the property. It had plenty room and did not feel over crowded with 8 of us staying there. The water pressure for the showers was very good. Plenty plates/cutlery etc in the kitchen. Small point was that the oven took a very long time to cook anything but otherwise all good. We would come back."
