"This is a small town in Italy away from everything. 4 hours and 2 trains from Rome. This bed and breakfast (coffee and croissant in the Centrale Bar in the piazza below) may be one of only a few places here to stay. "The location of the hotel works well for any evenings in the historical old city, or getting out of town during the day. The hotel has seen better days and has not seen any modernisation. The fixtures are not exactly vintage but everything that I touched worked fine. Comfort level was pretty average but it was not an expensive stay. We visited during covid so I don't think the pool was open. Breakfast could have offered a bit more choice ahead of early checkout."

"While the evening staff was very welcoming and the room large, everything else in this hotel was extremely disappointing. The shower was tiny and the water flow was hardly a drizzle. The room was basic and the furniture - old. Breakfast was basic compared to standard Italian hotels, and most tables in the restaurant were filthy with leftovers and crumbs from previous guests. I definitely do not recommend this place. "
