We had previously stayed at Villa D’Este for our honeymoon and found that Sans Souci offered so much more for us. "This apartment is located in a residential area, however if you have a car, there is no problem going to Bergamo sightseeing or shopping malls. It is also within a 30 minute drive from the airport. The owner was very kind and flexible with check-in times. The room is clean and has everything. Highly recommended if you are staying with your family."

My suggestions would be some window covers (so easier to sleep in) and get some nicer outdoor furniture so guests can take better advantage of the 2 terraces which are quite lovely."

"The views are truly incredible, and it’s nice that this is not in fact in Varenna, but a steep drive up in the village of Perledo. A car is needed. There are no good restaurants close by, and there is a basic grocery store walking distance. Not that difficult to manage to be honest. The wifi is like third world - basically unusable. The facilities are fairly basic. I’d give the place 5 stars if if it cost half the price. But at this price, it is a very expensive for what you get."
