"This is a wonderful boutique hotel perfectly situated for a stay in beautiful Bergamo's Citta Alta. We were greeted so warmly - the managers and staff are all smiles all the time! - and welcomed with a glass of lovely local White and a charcuterie board, while we watched the tiny funicular which goes up to the highest point of the town. "We were blown away when we first walked in. So homey and quaint. Please the view!!! Best part, especially over the Christmas holidays where you can enjoy the view of the Duomo all lite up from your balcony. Excellent shower. Dual sinks. Very close to the boat docks and shopping. "What a gem! Tucked away in the back streets of Como. I can’t fault this place. Staff are amazing, each and every one of them. We were upgraded - however I think every room here is special. We will make this our permanent pit stop on the way to Puglia now. Just a note - the breakfast is an epic affair. Make tummy space and time to enjoy it. "

"Ginevra rooms is beautiful! We loved the watch theme and got to stay in the cartier room, of which there was a hige cartier watch on the wall behind the bed. Leila was lovely, polite and very helpful during our stay. The room was clean, modern and exatcly what we needed. I have been to Bergamo 3 times and will definitely be using Ginevra rooms again."

Everything about the hotel is top quality

"The hotel was situated in the heart of como around 10 minutes walk from the lake. The reception was extremely professional, quick and efficient. The room was very clean and the bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast was top quality with professional staff doing the catering and making coffee. All the hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable "

"The airport bus drops you right at the door of the hotel, the funicular to the old town is an easy five minute walk and the hotel is well-placed between the old and new town. Breakfast was lovely, there is a restaurant on the roof, it is pricey but the views are really fantastic and the food was delicious. The hotel is also a fifteen minute from Atalanta's stadium. "

Hotel de la Ville - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

"A beautiful hotel! Everyone was very kind and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. A bonus is the historic Villa Reale de Monza is just across the street. The tour is well worth the time. Shopping and dining is just a 15 minute walk. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. "

"We booked a last minute stay at this hotel for New Years Eve. We booked two rooms, and both were upgraded to have a lake view, and the hotel was kind enough to give us connecting rooms since we were there with our two tween sons. The hotel was in a PERFECT - PERFECT location!! The rooms were comfortable and had balconies. We would have had a perfect spot to watch all of the NYE fireworks, if not for the fact that our sons wanted to be on the lakefront. :) I absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay in Como!!!"
