" I HAD A WONDERFUL STAY AT THE AMERICAN INN IN TOMAH,WI. THE STAFF WERE VERY POLITE,UNDERSTANDING AND VERY HELPFUL TO MY DAUGHTER AND I. I HAD MADE A MISTAKE MISUNDERSTOOD THIER PET POLICY. I THOUGHT THEY ALLOWED DOGS. SO I HAD BROUGHT MY DOGS WITH ME.THE NEXT MORNING THE STAFF/OWNER EXSPLAIN VERY VERY POLITLEY THAT THEY ONLY ALOOWED SERVICE ANIMALS AND ALLOWED ME AN ACTQUITE AMOUNT OF TIME TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TIO FINN SOMEONE ZAND SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR MY DOGS TO GO DURING MY STAY. "My husband and I have stayed there twice now and we have enjoyed it both times. The rooms are clean and I like the decor. The pool area is very large with a huge hot tub. The lounge wasn't open the day that we were there (Monday), but that looked like a nice place to have a drink. The breakfast was very good with a lot of options. We look forward to staying there again when we are in Wisconsin "
