"Overall we had a lovely stay at the Greenhill Hotel. The food was excellent and all the staff friendly; especially the lady serving breakfast who couldn’t do enough for us even when we came down to breakfast late on the last day! I do feel the room rate is a little high considering the bedroom furniture is looking a little tired and the cleanliness of the shower left a lot to be desired but this was pointed out and some money was knocked off our final bill. "

"Parked onsite and was welcomed by Maurice & Laureen who invited us in with smiles and laughter. We booked the, superior double room with the bathtub. And the room was spacious and cosy with the bathtub being big and relaxing. There is a cozy common area where you can relax read and gossip. A lovely breakfast was prepared by Laureen with Maurice being service and entertainment. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay depite being only one night. We wished we could stay longer. Well appointed--comfortable mattress, beautiful bedding, great bathroom--comfortable couch and small table for eating. Excellent value. More than 1 venue for food--different styles. "I had a great stay,I booked the unit a day before my arrival and once booked I received all the check in info immediately, no key was needed all acess is through a keypad system which is nice.The unit was very spacious and cozy,I really liked the kitchen set-up,Carlisle is a wonderful city and fun to explore and the apartment was only a 5 minute walk to the train station."
