"We stayed the Hilton Historic Powhatan for a five day family vacation. The property was easy to find and check in went smoothly. Our room was upgraded. The property is huge with multiple water features, walking/running paths, playground, mini golf, and other outdoor activities. Our unit was a second floor two bedroom with full kitchen and washer/dryer. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and clean. The kitchen was clean and functional and had all the essential cooking items you would need. The on premise coffee house was very convenient to grab a cup in the morning after a run/walk. The resort is located near lots of shopping and easily accessible to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. A few areas to improve upon- the units are a bit dated and the furniture in the living room area is not the most comfortable. The bath towels were nice, but would be nice if they provided more towels per unit. Overall we had a wonderful stay and plan to stay again and recommend the property to family and friends. "

"Very nice hotel with lots of space. Unfortunately, we could hear much of the conversation, noise, music, etc. from other rooms. Restaurant should have remained open New Year's Eve for folks who needed a bite to eat. Lighted makeup mirror in bathroom. No good place provided to apply makeup anywhere in the room. "

"I say at Patriot's Place at least once a year. I keep coming back for the value, location, and quality of accommodations. The units are attractive and comfortable (maybe a slightly dated look) and provide all the necessities for a short or long stay. The processes at the registration desk are efficient and easy. While I have little interaction with the staff they are friendly and effective at their work."

"Loved the townhouse option to accommodate 7 people on three floors. Note that the three bedrooms share only 2 bathrooms and one of the floors had no bathroom. Therefore, that floor was not suitable for a senior couple who ended up staying in the open-space, sleeping on the opened couch on a floor which had a bathroom, shared with the bedroom on that floor."

"Very nice hotel, very clean, well maintained. Great location to the colonial historic district. The hotel had 2 restaurants that were very hard to get into and prices were high. Reservations are a must. No free breakfast is offered with this hotel which is a turn off for me. I was also very turned off with the hotel charging $25 per night for parking. You have no other option, so you have to pay it. It’s a classic hidden fee that hotels like to hit you with. This is a very nice upscale hotel in a convenient location, but you pay for it. Next time, we are going to look for better value."
