"This is a beautiful ecolodge and very well managed by Pedro and his staff. Pedro goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Their food options are very creative and excellent especially since we were vegetarians. The place is remote and provides a true jungle experience while still having the basic amenities to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. They have well organized guided walks both at night and during the day, several of them covered within the reservation. "

The food is made with love. There are monkeys, birds of every kind, frogs and his knowledge of these animals is very impressive. You will feel like you are part of his family. "Hidden gem for sure. House was beautiful and the property was stunning! We watched monkeys while drinking our morning coffee and there’s a beautiful cook shack to cook over the open fire. We also saw iguanas, squirrels and beautiful birds while walking around the property, looking at the waterfalls and river. Inside the house was just as beautiful. Rainfall shower head, beautiful wooden table and nice clean everything!!! "

"Such a beautiful property & great value!!! Unbelievable views from our room of the waterfall on property grounds. Photos of the property do not do it justice. We booked this very last minute due to a change of schedule due to rain & the host’s communication was very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we loved our change of plans. Not only was this property beautiful & full of hummingbirds, but Bajos del Toro was charming & had so much to offer. "

"A beautiful view! The town the home is situated is very cute, friendly people, well appointed grocery store and a couple of great places to grab some local cuisine. The place itself has some gorgeous views, a beautiful property surrounded by fruit trees, and Macaws that greeted us every morning and many evenings. The breeze that comes through the property is amazing and keeps the place cool with sliding doors open. We loved the splash pool and the partial open air bathroom concept. Also the bed...
