It's remote enough to see the stars in the hot tub on a clear night, but has a lot of towns and villages around to drive to for days out, plus local walks which were detailed in the welcome book. Although the two single bed room wasn't really appropriate for our young children as the stairs were quite steep and it was a mezzanine as opposed to a separate room. But fortunately the owner installed a stairgate for us which made things a lot safer. It'll be worth mentioning this in the description. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and it was close to lots of family friendly activities"

"We booked this place only for a couple of nights as we needed somewhere to stay whilst i attended a local hospital. The property itself is nicely renovated, keeping old features of the barn with modern heating and bathroom etc which was lovely. Checkin was easy and the owners were nearby if needed but not intrusive. Nice big sofa and clean everywhere, nice bath and underfloor heating. The surrounding area is lovely, and I imagine if we attended during a time where the whole country wasnt...
