"Excellent hotel on the eastern edge of the Tianhe shopping district, with many big shopping malls and dining options within just a few minutes' walk. The hotel itself is very well equipped, nicely maintained and extremely comfortable. We found the beds particularly comfortable and the bathrooms spotlessly clean. Desk staff were polite, helpful and spoke decent English, which is not always the case in China. I would certainly stay at Oakwood Premier again when visiting Guangzhou."

"If you are looking for a clean room to stay, this is it. There are no other frills. Although they advertise a spa and gym, these facilities were all under face lifting so not available when I was there. The neighborhood is accessible to public transportation, about 1 min walk to a fantastic bus station. You can get to most attractions from there via bus, and/or connect to subway.
