"Nice hotel - good food, doggy super-friendly (even meals and ice-cream) - car park huge but not in peak times - only negative was the walls a little thin but nothing major. Distance to carnforth, lancaster and morecambe fine. Lovely people. "

"Adequate room, comfortable, great food, loads of parking, unfortunately I left before breakfast and allthough I was offered to use the breakfast room for toaster I think a few more options would have been welcomed. Overall no real issues, young lady behind the bar was very helpful and curteous."

"We checked in to this beautiful old inn, and were greeted by owner Johnathan, we were shown to our room and told if we needed anything just ask. Being the winter the kitchen is closed Monday and Tuesday which Johnathan apologised for, we replied it’s absoulutly fine. He told us of the local Chinese just up the road and said please feel free to bring it back to our room to eat, which we did. Excellent Chinese takeaway. We slept like logs and woke to have full breakfast that Jonathan cooked which...

"This hotel was fabulous. A lovely room with a fantastic view. Nothing was too much trouble for the proprietors. A lovely breakfast to start the day. We were lucky that when we got back to the hotel after our friends daughters wedding reception we were treated to live folk music in a well stocked bar. A lovely relaxing end to a delightful day"
