"This is a perfectly good hotel if you are spending the night in Zurich just before a flight -- the airport is 5 minutes away. There is public transport or Uber (about 9 Swiss franks). One noteworthy thing: there is no air-conditioning there, so if that's important to you, keep in mind for the summer. One last strange thing: I was told that Expedia was providing a "gift": one breakfast. Considering there were two of us, that's not a gift. It's a two-for-the-price-of-one offer. We declined because the breakfast was expensive."

"Modern hotel, on the river front with good amenities. Very light and airy. It is a 20 minute or so walk from the old town / railway station which suited me but worth bearing in mind. My room was large and spacious with a partial view of river. Very pleasant dining room, overlooking river where they serve a very good breakfast with huge choice. On top floor there is a spa, relaxing atmosphere - I booked a massage and the therapist was delightful. Reception staff were helpful and cleaning staff accommodated a special request I had. Great place for a few nights in a lovely town, plenty of nature and walking options nearby."

"Hotel Walhalla is directly across from St. Gallen HB (train station). This makes it incredibly convenient for travel, requiring no taxi or Uber. Local public transportation is in abundance. It is a short walk to Marktplatz for dining and shopping. The St. Gallen Textile Museum, the Cathedral, and the Abbey Bibliothek are easily within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The showers were delightful. The breakfast buffet offered options from scrambled or hard boiled eggs, three different yogurt options, fresh fruit, breads/rolls, pancakes, cereal, bacon, and fruit juices."

The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable—especially the bed, which was like sleeping on a cloud! The location was perfect, with easy access to city centre of Sigen. I also appreciated the breakfast with lots of variety to choose from. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be back!"
