"We have been traveling here frequently from Carlsbad to see my nearly 101 year old mother-in-law. We have stayed at the Palm Garden during these visits and this time decided to try the Hampton. Very pleased with our visit. Especially noted the bed being extremely comfortable, quietness in the room and the black out shade that helped us sleep in. "This property needs improvements. Had to park on the road next to steep hill. Stepping into the apt area was rough as it was unfinished. It said sleeps six, but one bed and pull out couch with one extra blanket. Towels were old, furniture and carpets need cleaning or replaced. Not a lot of attention to detail. For the price, not a good value."
