"If you want a reasonably affordable trip just north of New York City on the Hudson, it's proximity to multiple historic villages & points along Hudson, it was ideal. Theres a costco & Stew Leonard's a few mins away & the rooms, while small are tidy, clean & comfy. Not best place if you are with a noisemaking crew. Otherwise cant beat this place."

"From check-in to check-out, I was very pleased with my entire experience, and would recommend the Sonesta White Plains to anyone visiting this very nice and quaint city. The overall ambience of the entrance, lobby bar, restaurant, and pool, were clean, contemporary, and classy. My room was perfect for my short stay and I will definitely stay here again in the future. "The only thing I don’t like was people talking all night long I can’t sleep was music to 3 or 4 in that morning son was bad "

"The staff was friendly. The room was easy to access and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and complimentary. The only complaint i have is that our room could have been cleaner. The lamp bases were sticky and the bathroom floor had hair on it. Overall i highly recommend and would stay here again. "
