My wife and I discovered this wonderful location totally by accident. Saw a sign off the picturesque A702 and thought we would check it out by traveling up a very narrow road for a mile or so.
There is also a nature trail around the lake showing local habitat ( 2 miles approx) and great picture opps. Magical!

"Over night stop driving from Aldershot to Orkney Islands. I just wanted a reasonable priced simlple hotel fir one night and the Kings Arms was just that very near the motorway. Nice clean room small but not tired with a good tv. I had BnB and the breakfast was very good too. I did not eat supper in the hotel."
