"Our room was clean and comfortable. It was a good size and set up for a family as we needed. We were disappointed that the spa was closed, an odd decision to close the spa at the weekend when travellers are most likely to want to use it. I have two comments about our room (8) - the pillows were a bit lumpy and if we had occasion to stay again, I’d request not to stay in this room because of the two steep steps down into the bathroom. "I found the Hotel easily from the Railway Station after a short walk. I found everything about the place lovely! "Great one night stay, very friendly and easy check in. Went for a walk across the Chevin with friends also staying at the guesthouse. Nice drink in the pub afterwards before checking in. Great to relax in the room with an amazing view from the room and the balcony outside. Very quiet room even with neighbours either side, didn't hear a thing. Lots of parking and easy taxis to travel around in the evening. Powerful shower and full cooked breakfast in the morning."

"Property was perfect for the price. Clean and welcoming. Shower was nice and the bed was comfortable. I was able to get in touch with the management on arrival. Tap in the ensuite was cold and despite running for a while, did not produce hot water. The building was subject to some noise pollution and you could clearly hear other guests in other rooms. Other than that, I would book again."

"Always great when we stay at the little hide. We have been a few times just me and my fellas little getaway. Its our peace place with out the kiddies. Lovely and quite this time of year. Was on the cold side with the weather but the heater in the pod was amazeing at keeping you toastie. The only down fall for me was the magpie that seemd to haunt me whilst there hahaha. Really funny.
