"My friend and I had a lovely stay! The tent was clean and as expected. My only complaint is how close it is to the railroad tracks. I was woken up in the middle of the night to a train horn that sounded like it was about to blaze through the tent. Although, my friend wasn’t woken up because he is a heavy sleeper. If you’re staying in the colder months, I recommend a space heater. Also, if you’ve never slept on a cot before, definitely bring something for cushioning. "

"We have stayed in the Thompson House several times along with a few of Walt’s other properties. The house this trip was clean and comfortable upon arrival, as it has been every other time. We had a small hiccup with the heat this trip, which was taken care of ASAP. Walt is a great host and we highly recommend his properties.We plan to book again. "
