"Spent a few days here to ski at Stowe. It was everything that was advertised. Clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. We felt safe during our stay. Enjoyed the TV and playing the games provided. Convenient to local eateries and stores. Easy drive to Stowe. The hosts were available if needed. Would definitely stay again!"

"The Sugar Shack is a cozy and comfortable “tiny home” on a beautiful piece of riverfront land. We were two old friends looking to spend a few days skiing and reminiscing amidst natural beauty. This place felt like our own green mountain retreat, and a great way to have our own space with fun amenities without renting an entire ski chalet. The hot tub at the center of the various tiny homes on the property is the perfect spot to relax after a day of skiing. Our host was communicative and helpful throughout the stay. I’m hoping to return at some point in the future (it looked like a cool A-Frame cabin would be the next addition to the property), and now find myself glancing at listings for vacant land in Vermont."

"My husband and I booked this cabin for a new years ski trip with our golden retriever. Though the weather wasn’t ideal (only got one day of skiing in), we were happy to have such a perfect cabin to relax in during our stay. Pictures are a great representation of the cabin, and it was roomy and warm. Definitely could have invited a couple friends (or brought kids) and still been comfortable. Only downer was that the hot tub did not look/smell clean, but as this is a campground I’m not sure that’s the homeowner/vacasa’s responsibility. Otherwise the empty campground was a dream for our pup to run around on and get some energy out. Would definitely come back again and again!! "

"This house was everything we could have hoped for and more! Our family (8 adults + kids and dogs) stayed here for the week of Thanksgiving and we were honestly blown away at how much the house had to offer. The kitchen & appliances were fully stocked with everything we could have needed for big family meals, including plenty of plates, serving ware, platters, mugs/glasses, etc. despite us being a large group. The house and property grounds were beautiful and very clean. We used the hot tub and sauna daily, both which were incredible additions to an already lovely experience in the house. We also loved having the two separate living room spaces (one upstairs and one downstairs) to spread out in throughout the week. The house was well equipped for children as well. The kids (ages 6-10) loved having so much outdoor space to play and the game room downstairs was also a big hit for them. In terms of location, the house is under 15 minutes to a large grocery store and only about 25 minutes to Stowe. Overall, we couldn't recommend The Ponderosa enough! We would love to stay here again. "

"Loved staying here for the weekend! The snow falling in the hot tub made it magical. Martin even brought us dry wood for a winter bonfire which was amazing. Will definitely recommend to friends!!"

"The property was absolutely gorgeous. We had many family members in town and everyone was able to occupy the space comfortably as well as sleep accordingly. Highly recommend if you want a space to sleep a larger family. "
