"The staff were all super nice, great place to meet people. Only a 6 minute walk to some really cool temples & about 10/15 minute walk to downtown, super close the airport great for a first night in Chiang mai."

"If you want somewhere basic and well located in Chiangmai old town, this is the place for you. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a lovely area walking distance from lovely shops and places to eat and book other excursions. My only complaint would be that the room was quite basic, there was a lot of noise from other AC generators (despite the one in our room being turned off whilst we tried to sleep) and the shower was not hot. "10/10. Hobnob Hostel embodies Thai hospitality at it’s finest. Most notably, the staff in reception and at the cafe during breakfast - were always pleasant and incredibly helpful. They offer complimentary snacks & water, and their avocado toast was delicious! Thank you for the wonderful stay! :)"

"I am genuinely disappointed with my experience at this hostel. I booked and paid for a family room three days in advance, but when my family and I arrived, we were informed that there was no room available. We waited for 3 hours, and the staff did not provide any assistance; they simply stated that there was no room and walked away from the reception. This was incredibly frustrating, and we ultimately had to find another hotel over 40 minutes away, which completely disrupted our travel plans....

"Awesome location near Nimman but a quieter area. Free tea and coffee and very basic breakfast and can get very good chicken and rice for breakfast across the street for 35 baht. Tony is very helpful and a good guy. Very comfortable beds as well."

"It was alright as far as hostels go. Unfortunately during my stay the bathroom and the elevator both were out of order - I decided to end my stay early and get a room at a hotel. It was clean, though!"
