"Central location lovely old hotel with period fetchers "

"The deluxe room overlooking the golf course with opening patio doors was excellent and made our stay memorable. Leisure facilities such as swimming pool, steam room and sauna were good and the spa staff wonderful. On arrival, Bob on reception made us feel welcome and was brilliant. Dining in the restaurant in the evening was pleasant and with good menu options however breakfast service disorganised with being asked to wait while a table was made available which was annoying as never...

"Had an amazing couple of nights at Schloss. The staff are so lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The decor is absolutely stunning. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds and the spa is to die for. Breakfast of champions. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for pure luxurious relaxation! 5 stars "

"No proper sit eatery in the service station, all fast food even for breakfast. Was not aware that there was a £10 charge for parking even though staying at the Days inn overnight "

"It’s a good hotel location to get to Lake District, free large car park. Friendly greeting at reception on check-in. Should also mention handy EV charger (fast charger) for EV cars (which I used) just off main road. So not only can you recharge your battery but also the cars. "
