"Family had a fantastic stay. Beds were comfortable, house was in good order. We loved the location and porch, fire pit, etc. The beach location and access is perfect. Only negative was the slight musty smell in house and a few roaches in the kitchen, but those are somewhat to be expected in a beach house. Everything went smoothly and worked well. Highly recommend."

"House was clean and well equiped. There is a lot of repair going on in the area from the hurricane, it rained a lot while we were there so we explored the area. Not too far from some fun things. Houston and Galveston Island. The house did have a smoker smell, To moat it probably wasnt that bad but we definitely noticed it. . All in all it was a nice trip. Wish the weather was better. 😞"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coconut cottage! It’s an adorable space that’s so well appointed, nice sharp knives, good pans for cooking, a comfy bed, and a great location. Oscar was a wonderful host, he had lots of helpful suggestions for the area, and when we inquired whether there was a drip coffee maker at the cottage, he offered to buy one so we would have it. We can’t say enough about how wonderful the space is and what great hosts come with!"

"There is absolutely nothing bad to say about the very welcoming home, it didnt feel like just a house we rented, felt like a home. It was full of sweet little details that added to the welcoming atmosphere. It had everything you would have in your own home. Walking barefoot to the beach was nice and cooking on the backyard grill was awesome! Looking forward to booking again on the next trip to Galveston. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"The house in an all is really nice. There is a few issues. The owner may want to address as far as vent falling down in kitchen ceiling, toilet seat not fitting on guest bathroom and a weird smell to the water. Other than that, it was great and very clean upon our arrival."

"Beautiful and cozy place but the air conditioning wasn’t working properly even though we let the manager know a few times since we checked in, it turned out that it was set to be in 78 degree every hour and we learned that by the manager right before check out. Also the smoke alarm went on from 4 to 7 am being really annoying."

"Property was clean, rooms smaller than the pictures suggest but comfortable. Bunk beds wobbly for older kids. I believe there should have been a better stock of toilet paper and paper towels and towels in general. Although the washer and dryer helped. All in all it was a comfy stay for the week"

"We stayed for four nights prior to our cruise. The interior of the home is spotless and beautifully decorated. Everything is in like new condition; beds were great. Both bathrooms have large walk in showers. Wish the weather were warmer-we could have enjoyed the nice front porch or back deck/fire area. Appreciated the supplied coffee and snacks. The nearby historic cemetery is very cool. The neighborhood seems a little bit sketchy at first but we had no problems. "

"We had a wonderful one-night stay with our family! The property was very clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for the kids to hang out while the adults enjoyed visiting and playing cards. The short walk to the beach was perfect, and we were able to experience a lovely sunset together. The only small suggestion we have is to add a Keurig to the kitchen in place of the regular coffee pot for added convenience. Overall, the stay was awesome, and we’d love the opportunity to stay here again!"
