"The owners are really nice people, very helpful. But the place needs more hygiene, specifically mattress, that had a weird smell. But for the price we just went on and stayed happy, specially the breakfast, that saved us every morningm"

"Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was lovely. It’s on a beach front location and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant has great food and it’s also beach front. Take mosquito repellent if you go, lots of mosquitos in the area and the room, coming in through gaps in the door and the window in the bathroom. "

"I was not feeling well and they were very nice to me. The meals were great especially the banana pancakes for breakfast. They just let me hibernate in my room while getting over whatever crud I'd picked up. Room was clean and adequate for a single person. I could control the AC which was nice, not being used to a tropical climate. I would love to go back when I was healthy to see more of Bali."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Jati cottage. We were really sad to leave. Our room exceeded our expectations on arrival. Our room was accessed up our own set of steps, we had a large private balcony overlooking the pool. 2 double beds side by side which was perfect for our needs, there was also a sofa in the room. "Near market but secluded a bit. Be prepared for animal noise at night. I did not eat there as better options within walking distance in central Ubud. Something that I not at 2 hotels in Ubud is when you put the sign clean my room’ and go out, they don’t clean the room but turn the card that say ‘do not disturb’. Then they say they didn’t clean because of the sign. "

"We had a very nice stay at the Chill house. Our daughter enjoyed the pool, we the quiet atmosphere and the cleanliness of the place. The host family was always there to help with tips and other things and we rented a motorbike for a very good price. Really recommended!"

"We stayed for only one night and this place was perfect as a stopover before taking the fast boat to Lombok. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the property was clean and tidy. As a bonus we had a meal the evening before we arrived and I had a “ monster burger” which you could tell was cooked with care and delicious. All that and breakfast thrown in ! Difficult to beat for the price and highly recommended."

"My parter and I stayed at this villa for 5 nights and we both loved our stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful, they go above and beyond to ensure you have a good stay. The villa has a beautiful view and it’s in a very quiet area. With that being said, it was 20/30 mins away from ubud so it was a little difficult to get around. "

"I spent nearly a month in February at The Cozy Haven and JoJo and the team were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and the room was excellent (I stayed in the Junior Suite). The property is only a few years old, lovely interior and great space. "I’ve stayed at the Alaya twice and both times have exceeded my expectations. This time for 1 week and it was just perfect. The staff is amazing. The spa is incredible, pools and gym are all a 10. I would definitely stay here again. Location is close to the center and walkable to a lot IF the heat wasn’t so intense but it’s Bali and it is, so we still needed to use taxis to get to some of the “spots” but not a big deal. Lots of restaurants and shops near. Yoga Barn is literally next door if that’s your vibe! "

"A priority beyond excellent. The day were amazing, couldn’t do enough for you. Food was fabulous, recommend the club lounge. We had a lovely room which was cleaned to the height of perfection. Seriously cannot recommend this hotel enough. The gardens are absolutely fabulous. A minor thing, there was no lifeguard on duty, but it was the end of the low season.. overall - fabulous!!"
