"Our family of four had a fantastic stay at Welcome Home Cottage. It is in a nice and quiet location and the house is great. Very cosy (can imagine it is great in winter!) with everything, and more, that you need. "Two blocks from a rocky beach (good for a swim, with water shoes) and stunning views. Quiet neighborhood close to trail along the lake. House has everything you need in the kitchen, a nice deck, and was super clean when we arrived. Note that if you want to use the hot tub, there is an extra charge (to cover cleaning, which seems reasonable), and owners will unlock it. Plenty of room for two couples (and there is a bunk room too!). "

"We really enjoyed our stay here but the layout is definitely different. It is not for people with mobility issues but otherwise it is great. The are multiple places inside and out to enjoy the view and it is pretty spectacular. We loved sitting in the sunroom and enjoying the view of the hills and the river. If you are doing a cruise from Manipouri dock, such as the Doubtful Sound tour you literally can not stay anyplace closer. It is a 3 minute walk to the pier. I will remember our stay for a...
