"This was a great spot for our time in Te Anau. We used it as home base to explore the region (hiking, Milford Sound, etc.). Location is hard to beat - very close to the lakeshore, business district, city park, Fiordland DOC Visitor Center and multiple very good restaurants (Ditto, Redcliff, Miles Better Pies). "The views from the property are stunning, garden is lovely and kitchen good. A few minor things wrong which where communicated to the company but no response. It sleeps 15, but lounge, dining and outside can only cope with 8. TV room is rubbish and sofas uncomfortable and cheap, really needs a tv in lounge and master bedroom. However the views trump all of these issues "

"Te Anau was a cute little town. Enjoyed the downtown area for dinner. This house served as a great location for us to stay for spending 2 days in Milford Sound with our 2 kids and inlaws. Lawn and bushes needed upkeep. This made us a little worried when we pulled in. But the inside was spacious and comfortable."

"Everything about this place was lovely. Clean, tidy and very comfortable bed! Nice to have the outside furniture to sit at too as the weather was great on two days. A couple of things I felt the owner could consider was some kind of light over bathroom mirror as very dark for putting on makeup and a blind over bathroom window. Even though it’s opaque you feel exposed with light on. 😜 these are additions though and would only enhance an already lovely place. Would definitely stay here again"

"The property had the feel of an old family home that no-one had lived in for many, many years. The stove top wouldn't heat any of the pans, the oven smoked A LOT the one time we tried to use it probably because there were no baking dishes/pans so the inside was filthy, the pantry was full of expired food, and there were pots in the cupboard with an inch of water in the bottom. "Located overlooking the lake, we enjoyed the view and the town. It was a great stay, clean, warm, with the necessities. Owners were very helpful and kind. "

"The view was lovely. It was expensive, no internet, no heating unless you wanted to start a fire, a fire hazard in the bathroom in the form of a heater. It was hard wired and very old. Bare globes in overhead lighting and on the wall for reading. My top blanket had a huge blob of something and clearly needed washing."
