"We had an amazing experience in the hotel. The lady on the front desk was so sweet and helped guide us with how to use the metro. So helpful and kind. The Venezuelan server (we don’t know his name) at breakfast was helpful and super nice too. He even stored food for us for the next day since we were leaving before breakfast started. "The airconditioning was quite loud, and since it was quote cold outside it had to be on. It was a bit noisy and the biggest fault for me was no bedding on the duvet, so that made me feel a bit uncomfortable. But it was a quite modern looking place in relatively good area just a couple minutes via local transport to city centre. "

"The hotel/guesthouse is easily reached from the centre of Milan by metro followed by a short walk (past a nice bakery). Il Girasole looks unconventional, being a converted factory building. A nice courtyard is hidden behind a metal entrance door. Matteo and his brother are extremely nice hosts, who can provide enthusiastic advice on sightseeing in Milan. Our room was one of the two behind the courtyard which, unfortunately, the WiFi signal from the main building didn't reach - but was fine if...
