"Great hotel ,really good restaurant . Only negative no lift which makes getting to your room on the top floor after a few drinks interesting ! . "

"Nice hotel, clean, warm welcoming. Location for Colchester excellent Breakfast lovely, tasty and plentiful, cooked or continental on offer. Rooms spacious, warm. Only low point was no daily housekeeping, so had to replenish tea, coffee, milk from breakfast area, not a real problem lots to pick from there."

"A very speedy change to an accessible room on arrival which was very spacious and quiet. For us, the overnight temperature was a bit too warm, and being on the ground floor didn't feel opening a window was a sensible option! But we managed!"
