Parking in front of the hotel was a bit tight depending on the spots available. They do have another parking area though. Hotel was clean and as described in the listing. Overall, a good stay."

"The Hotel Nikko was perhaps the finest hotel I have ever stayed in!! EVERYTHING was exceptional! The staff was very courteous and helpful with us with navigating Japanese language. The front lounge was a beautiful setting for us to meet with friends. The breakfast buffet was something i looked forward to every morning- vast variety of Japanese cuisine and other breakfast foods. It was absolutley delicious!! The Hotel Nikko was within 5 min walk to Kumamoto Castle and huge shopping area. I most definitley stay here again.!! "

"There are many different choices of onsens in the ryokan. The staff are excellent as well, their english proficiency is one of the best I’ve seen as well. Although there were some incidents at the start when we check in, the staffs are very efficient at dealing with it. Overall I’ll recommend anyone who visits Kurokawa onsen to give this ryokan a try"

Since I have been learning some Japanese and trying to speak it they seem more friendly. Except the breakfast guy he’s all business lol"
