"My husband, dog, and I stayed here for 2 nights at Christmas. The apartment was beautiful to begin with, especially the lighted gemstone piece. But add Christmas decorations with the fireplace and it was so charming and festive! The location is perfect- it’s far enough away to avoid the tourist congestion but close enough to be able to walk everywhere, and I loved being right across from the old jail. "we would definitely stay here again. They need to check up on the cleaners. Counter and coffee table was full of crumbs from the last visitors. There should be a house sign with address in the back so you know where to park. porch light should be on a timer. we checked in after dark and had a hard time seeing. These are not complaints, just suggestions"

"Nice little retreat for a getaway! The place was very clean and we were able to walk to downtown Jim Thorpe. It was a little further than we wanted but still doable. Especially after seeing the trouble with parking during the fall season. It was perfect for us! "

"Not at all an accurate description of property. While the room you stay in is very cozy, well furnished, and cute, it is just a single room inside of a dwelling. This is NOT a one bedroom home. You have no access to a kitchen, sitting room, dining room, or TV room. Also the bathroom does not have a bidet as stated in listing. "The property manager was easy to communicate with via the VRBO app and provided timely access information and additional recommendations.The property was perfectly appointed for a cozy stay. "I booked for a few days during Christmas with my mom and I brought my dog. The property was easy to get to, the parking was very convenient. We were in apartment F which was decorated for the holidays and was so warm and welcoming - they even had a Christmas tree in the living room! We had everything we needed and more. "This place was absolutely perfect. Kitchen came in key when we ended up have some snow/ice making use of our leftovers. King size Purple bed was our first time on Purple and it was great. Such a great place to escape and use as a home base for our trip away. Caretaker was great keeping the parking slot salted and clear. Will definitely check if this is available next time we come to the area. If there is any question of if you shouod book do it."

"The house is always decorated so festive for the holidays with fhe holiday tree and decorations. Our favorite was how the path by the house was lit up with Christmas lights and was so magical our first night with it snowing!"

"I came to have a relaxed and quiet time and that's what I have. The property was clean and super neat. Communication with Leona was super easy. Also, you have other great places only about 20 minutes away (Jim Thorpe, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Appalachian Trail). I,definitely, would stay again at this place!"
