"The property is just as the pictures indicate. A quiet and relaxing place to stay. The one concern I would raise is parking. While the area where the house is located is very quiet the other part of the village is filled with tourists all day long. While we were there the moment we left our parking space it was taken immediately. We made sure we didn’t return to the village till late afternoon when we could again find a parking spot."

Aldi, Lidl and many other stores close by. Airport 10 minutes away. Ignore previous comments regarding dogs barking. We stayed 3 weeks and this was never an issue. "The Finca Delicias are a small group of converted farm buildings located in a banana plantation near the beach and rock swimming pools of Alcala. The house was well presented, creatively furnished, and well equipped with generous amounts of space indoors and out. Incredible views of the ocean with the sun setting behind La Gomera each evening. "The property was perfect in every way. Unfortunately the satnav couldn't find the house. We phoned the owner who didn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish. We found a taxi rank and asked them to take us and we would follow and pay them. He couldn't find it either, so he spoke to the owner who came and met us and we followed him. He was very helpful - considering it was now midnight!! Other than this everything else was great. A very steep climb down to the town."

We arrived early and the host let us know the minute it was ready.lovely and clean. So quiet it was great. Easy travel to all the places we wanted to go to. Even got told we could stay later as cleaning was the following day! Highly recommend and will be back "
