"The location of this apartment is right in the middle of the action. Grocery and laundry are minutes away. The listing advertises room for 3, but definitely not 3 adults. The folding bed (stored in the stairwell) is only 165cm (5'6") long, so not good for anyone but a child. "The 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor was perfect for my family. Me, my 2 year old and my adult cousin. Great water pressure, beautiful views from the bedroom windows. Small but had everything we needed (except a pan for the stove, but I didn’t ask for one). The walk to the top of the hill and then the stairs was intense but doable. "The house is a beautifully redone schist structure in the center of Talasnal. All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. Great hikes just walking out the front door…although we did get lost the first day. Haha. Both Joao and Alda were super responsive and so helpful. Even offering to pick us up in Candal after our very long misplaced hike. Definitely purchase any supplies before arriving as the tiny Mercado...
