"It’s a great location and the hosts sent plenty of detailed instructions and rules prior to arrival. The lack of access to a regular front desk and the parking concerns due to cruise ships’ blocked off restrictions for the wharf gave us a little worry that we don’t have with hotels. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay and the unit itself had great amenities. The pros definitely outweighed my unwarranted fretting. ;) Thank you! Next time will be easy peasy! "

The apartment is really spacious and is equipped with absolutely everything you could want or need, from an iron to DVDs to coffee and everything in between. It's clear Astrid and Marcus have put a lot of care into making the apartment as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Location is perfect and very walkable. We'll be back!"

"Pros: Our stay was extremely comfortable, cozy and peaceful. Check-in & check-out was seamless and fuss-free, which we loved. The unit is quite well maintained and has all the essentials you can possibly think of. Solid location as there are plenty of cafes around and shopping districts are close too. Con: The pillows are too soft, so you will have to stack a couple of them for better neck comfort. Overall: I will definitely book this unit again if/ when I am back in Auckland."

"The premises served me well during a weeklong stay; it is close to where I grew up 60 years ago; it was a weeklong stay. It is spacious, well equipped and quiet. Is on a bus route; has off-street parking. The private yard is shared with the hosts, who were infrequestly in it. When called upon Mildred and Roy were very helpful."
