"We really enjoyed the accomodation out of the hustle and bustle of town. A well set up self contained unit under main house with a decent amount of space to spread out inside and lovely garden surrounds. The hosts were great. It's only a short walk down to the coast through the forest."

"Everything was fine except for the mattress which was a bit hard- could do with a topper. Very clean and comfortable. The picture shown in the advert shows the view from the top apartment so the description needs to show images of the top view and the view from the lower apart which is what we got....thinking we were applying for the top apartment view with balcony. As it was the weather was atrocious so it didn't really matter in the end."

The location - right on the beach and the amazing harbor views, the use of the paddleboards and bikes, the quiet little suburban area, the Marina cafe, the unit feeling spacious and having the kitchenette and bathroom and even the good quality instant coffee supplied. "The place was immaculate, and had everything! The deck had amazing views of the harbour and a Kereru nesting in a bush just on the other side of the glass ballistrade. The birdsong was so fabulous that we didn't listen to our music the whole time. Tui, Kereru and Morepork talked and sang to us and Fantails accompanied us on the beautiful bushwalks. The private beach was terrific for both us and our dog, but the best part was Aprilanne, William and their dogs. We could not have had better hosts...
