"This is a superb modern studio holiday apartment which is situated directly on the harbour side. It is tastefully furnished to a high standard and has all of the essential amenities for a relaxing break. Theo and Raewyn are great hosts, and you are made to feel very welcome right from the start. I stayed as a solo independent traveller, but this would equally suit a couple. I would recommend Ripples and Tides to any person travelling to this area of New Zealand. "

"Everything was fine except for the mattress which was a bit hard- could do with a topper. Very clean and comfortable. The picture shown in the advert shows the view from the top apartment so the description needs to show images of the top view and the view from the lower apart which is what we got....thinking we were applying for the top apartment view with balcony. As it was the weather was atrocious so it didn't really matter in the end."
