"We had a wonderful stay here. Lovely spacious room with balcony, amazing views from the glass lined dining room. I enjoyed the pool every day although the water is bracing in February! Charming staff from the cheerful dining room manager to our room cleaner, to the receptionist who sent a cup of tea down to my wife when she felt unwell. Highly recommend! "

"A great hotel, but not a 5 star. Staff service was intermittent, particularly in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner. One dinner was excellent, the next, the fish was over cooked and too salty. Could have been so much better"

"Lovely hotel with friendly staff in a central location (right by Plaza de Espana), nice rooftop pool (with good views of the city) and a great rooftop bar, serving restaurant food in a nice relaxed setting. "I thought the hotel in general was amazing. The only downside (not the hotels fault) were the rooms were all north facing. This meant no sunshine all day and the rooms felt a bit cold because of this. Overall though the hotel was marvellous."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Room was spacious, clean and modern. It has usb chargers, chromecast and enough plug sockets. Rooftop bar and swimming pool was very convenient and can see views across Tenerife. "Todo bien"

"This hotel is a little gem, steeped in history and very central. The internal lounge area with it's palms and exotic plants is wonderful. I would recommend this hotel so long as you are not looking for luxury. There are lovely views from many rooms and the pool is good. Shame they don't offer tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Fixtures and fittings are sadly just looking a bit tired."

"In short, the stay was positive and I would go again - but there were a few things that were below expectation, especially for a 4-star hotel. Otherwise, great overall. Negatives: No air conditioning: even tho we visited in Nov, still struggled with the hot & humid air - thankfully the staff were able to provide a fan upon request which partially helped. Sewage smell: an unpleasant smell was present in the toilet/bathroom especially throughout the first 2 days. Cockroach: live cockroach...
