"We had a great time at Chips Ahoy. The house was right on the beach; you could take one of two boardwalks to the beach, each less than a minute walk from the door to the water. The beds were comfortable, and the master shower was great. The neighborhood was wonderful (fishing ponds, playground, nice neighbors, lots of dogs, two pools- one heated and one not). It all felt very safe and laid back. The house had everything we needed, including beach/pool toys, a wagon, chairs, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked. The renovations/furnishings were very nice. The only things I would suggest changing- some areas could've been cleaner. The master shower definitely needed a good scrubbing- lots of mold and mildew. We found several food items in drawers (a soda can, a partially eaten waffle, and a yogurt tube). The dryer did not work well- I had to dry even the smallest loads twice. The master balcony could use some shade as it is not covered (maybe an umbrella or something similar?). The view from the main floor balcony was obstructed by bushes. It would be nice for those to be trimmed down if possible, but I know sometimes these provide a habitat/erosion control.Overall, we had a great time and will definitely stay here again!"

"Had a great month at your Barrier Dunes home. The home is tastefully and comfortably decorated. Comfortable beds. Place is well equipped. Love the complex. Quiet, safe, very family friendly, very dog friendly. The beach in front is stunning, can walk for literally miles. Owner was very accessible. We had a few unavoidable issues and he did everything he could to resolve them in a timely fashion. Would definitely return in the future. "

"Great location on the beach! Listened to waves crash all night, played in them during the day. Close to state park so when the waves get too crazy on the beach we could take kids to Eagle Harbor and play on the sand flat in St Joseph Bay. Great location!"

"My two boys, my husband, and I had a wonderful at Funseeker! As a clean freak, my first concern in a rental is always cleanliness, especially one that accepts pets because they can smell. Honestly, for this reason, I have never restayed in a rental. However, we will be back to Funseeker! It was very clean and smelled it, too! We loved being able to bring our two pups with us to enjoy our family vacation. This was a new experience for us as we usually go to Alabama beaches. We are definitely all about CSB now!The pet towels and beach towels were welcome ammenities. Our boys loved the bunk beds. Also, the renovated master bath and kitchen were exactly as pictured. The landline was also extremely helpful as the cell signal on Cape San Blas is nearly non-existent. My kids loved being able to call grandma to tell her about their day!Barrier Dunes is also a great community! Funseeker is super close to the clubhouse pool and the beach, and it is directly on one of the ponds. My husband didnt have much luck fishing the ponds, but fishing the state park (right next to the property) and the surf produced great results. Also, as the unit is an end unit, you can walk dogs right outside easily. The owner was also extremely responsive and helpful. It was super nice to deal with the owner directly rather than a large rental company, and we found the property to be better cared for probably due to this.We will be back to Cape San Blas and the Funseeker!!"
