Renovated in 2023, Chip's Ahoy is refreshed and awaiting your family's next Cape getaway. Beachfront and close to the Gulf front pool in Barrier Dunes, Chip's has beautiful views of the sugar white sandy beaches of Cape San Blas. Barrier Dunes is a gated community on the North end of Cape San Blas that has two pools, tennis courts with pickle ball lines, playground, and 3 ponds stocked with fish and turtles. Renovated to give guests the perfect coastal retreat, Chip's is a 2 bedroom townhouse with a super loft and sleeping for 10. Spacious with updated furnishings and decor, everyone in your group will find the perfect spot to relax at the end a fun filled beach day.

Chip's Ahoy is a dog friendly unit. A maximum of two dogs is allowed with the pet fee. Couch covers and pet towels are provided for your convenience.

Beautiful beach house!
We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was beautiful and clean with great views of the gulf. Plenty of beach chairs and sand toys for the kids to enjoy. I’m already thinking about when we can come back for another trip!

We loved our stay!

Perfect townhouse!
We had a great stay! The one minor issue we notified the property manager about was resolved above in beyond within minutes. Wonderful customer service. The townhouse was stocked with plenty of extras. We would gladly stay here again!

Great Stay
We stayed at Chips Ahoy this past weekend. It was a beautiful townhome. It was super clean and very comfortable. Even the twin beds slept great. There were chairs and beach buggy to use along with beach toys. The kids loved it. The beach and pool were both great. I bet it is the nicest home on the property!!! Loved it and would go back any time. I would even say it is the nicest property I have ever rented off of VRBO.

Amazing stay in a beautiful place!
We just returned from an amazing week in a beautiful condo (Chips Ahoy) on one of the most magical beaches we've ever been! We think of the Cape as this magical hidden gem and Chips Ahoy offered a fantastic accommodation while we were there. The condo is updated, beautiful, clean and full of thoughtful amenities. Furthering the positive experience, the folks at Happy Toes Vacation Rentals that manage the property were terrific throughout the process of finding, booking & enjoying our stay! At the end of the week, not only did we want to stay longer, we were ready to move in!!!

A perfect beachfront get away.
Chips Ahoy is wonderful. Great location (steps away from gorgeous white sand beach!) The views from both porches are stunning. The unit is nicely appointed and updated. The kids loft was a perfect get away for our two after spending day at beach and pools! Cape San Blas is truly a treasure. If you are looking for a get away similar to what you'd find on 30A at a FRACTION of the cost and crowd - Cape San Blas is perfect. We will definitely be back.

We loved your town house! It was beautiful, clean, modern, and just an over all great beach design. The townhouse was even prettier in person. We loved the upper level deck beach view especially when the sun sets. We were so happy to be able to bring our furry friend with us, she loves the beach. We also loved the ice-maker, perfect. We only stayed for a long weekend but certainly will come back for a full week. Wish we were still there.

Comfortable, Beautiful, Well Stocked Beachfront Retreat!
My family and I can't say enough wonderful things about our time at Chip's Ahoy. The living space, which overlooks the dunes and ocean, had 2 large sofas, 2 chairs as well as a large eating space and cozy window seat. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen I have ever come across (we could have been there for 2 weeks and still not used all of the dishes!) and all of the bedrooms had seating options as well as comfortable beds with layers of bedding. One of the things I appreciated the most is how clean the space was. Maybe the most clean house we've ever rented at the beach! Also appreciated the well stocked beach closet and the ease of access to the beach. We'll be back for sure! Thank you for sharing this gem with us!!

Nice place, just wish weather had been better
Nicely furnished. Maybe a few too many pillows on the sofa--LOL.. Just to pick nits so you can improve for the next guests. One roll of single ply toilet paper per bathroom and one of those had been dropped into water and allowed to dry and used. As cheap as one ply is, it should have been thrown out. That is the disadvantage of not opening the toilet roll and inspecting it before hanging in on the toilet roll dispenser. Television in Master bedroom very dusty. In fact, the whole condo needed a good dusting. There was sand left on the rug in the living room. We found the vacuum cleaner next to the furnace and cleaned the entire living room floor. Other than that it was a great location with great amenities.

Get this one!
We have stayed at Barrier Dunes two times in the past in two different units. When our "usual" places were booked I found Chips Ahoy and holy cow am I glad! This unit is amazing! It is totally updated down to the faucet hardware. Extras that made it very welcoming just to name a few: built in ice maker, actual comfortable furniture, updated appliances, nice cable selection as well as Netflix. I cannot speak enough about this unit. It was so nice to stay in a condo where the owner obviously enjoys investing in the place. Cindy was great, super easy to communicate with and made the whole process seamless. This is where you want to stay in Barrier Dunes!

My family and I recently stayed at Chips Ahoy and our experience was phenomenal! - Super responsive - Friendly handyman service - Beautiful decor - Easy beach access - Stocked beach closet We flew in for our stay with young kiddos and realized we had overpacked ‘beach goodies’ when we got there because this place has multiple beach chairs, a plethora of sand toys, and boogie boards. This was awesome! The house itself is also stocked with very comfortable bedding and bath linens. The kitchen was also stocked but is limited on what pans/serving dishes/utensils are available. We had an issue with the dryer but Stefanie was on it as soon as I texted her and within 12-hours had already let me know that a new dryer was going to be delivered and installed - AMAZING! It was so nice to be able to go home with a suitcase full of clean clothes. The community is so quiet and everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and a delight. Overall, we loved our stay and cannot wait to come back!

Doesn't get any better
Great unit and very accommodating for two families each of which had two children. The super loft is absolutely wonderful and perfect for kids to sleep and adults still have lower level to spread out after kids are up. The furniture was very comfortable and lots of flat screens-one in every room plus two in loft(these were a little tricky to use though). this is end unit at barrier dunes on the beach so no traffic running in front of balcony to get to the beach which by the way is literally just steps away. We were told unit was re-done just prior to arrival and could definitely tell as it had a warm, comfortable feel and not one typically encountered when renting a property. It was perfect for us as it provided a little extra space for everyone to separate but also very comfortable when our group of 8 was all together. My only hesitation to rate it AAA+ is that too many people will find out about this unit and it will not be available next year when we can hopefully return! By the way, check-in and out couldn't have been any easier. I would highly recommend this unit to others and hope to return. Please tell the owners we were very pleased.

Awesome Dog-Friendly Vacation!
My family stayed in Chip's Ahoy in early May 2017. We picked Cape San Blas because it was the closest Gulf Beach that was dog-friendly. We picked Chip's Ahoy because it offered the amenities (gulf front, 2 BR, dog-friendly) we wanted. All of our choices were vindicated and we had a fabulous time. While check-in time is in the afternoon, I called the owner's representative, Stefanie, on the morning of to see what time we could get in. She very cheerfully told us to come on, that the unit was ready. After we were too far along to turn back, I discovered that I left my laptop charger at home. I called Stefanie again to see about a shipping address. She quickly worked out a solution to have the package shipped to the owner's separate local address and brought it to me when it arrived. I was quite impressed with the personal customer service and grateful for the help. The unit is a multilevel "townhouse" style condo. There is a modern and well-appointed kitchen, including a Keurig coffee maker, standalone ice maker, and spacious refrigerator. The restaurant options at Cape San Blas are limited, so a gourmet kitchen was valued by my group. There were plenty of pots and pans, utensils, dinnerware and the like. The main living area includes a sofa and two oversized arm chairs. There is a 60-inch flat screen over the fireplace and a coffee table with nested stools/ottomans in the center. There is a deck facing the gulf adjacent to the living room, with access through a double sliding door. The deck also has a gas grill, a high top cafe table, and chairs. The master bedroom has an adjacent deck with a panoramic gulf view. We opened the sliding glass door and closed the screen at night to hear the crashing waves. The master bath has an enormous shower with a number of sprayers. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. There is a loft above the bedrooms that has more beds. The unit is connected to the beach by a wooden walkway. While the beach is wider than most found on the gulf now, it's not a long haul. While we were there, I saw no evidence of a beach chair concession, so bring your own chaise. While its remoteness and low-density development are charming and quaint, what really sets Cape San Blas apart is its dog-friendliness. I have never seen so many happy dogs in my life. Our dog absolutely loved the beach and meeting lots and lots of dogs and their owners. Chip's Ahoy checked all of our boxes and we had a great vacation.

Great Family Vacation
Chips Ahoy is a wonderful place to stay. It is beachfront, beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a beach vacation. The kitchen is well stocked and they even have beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. It is also pet friendly which is a huge bonus. I would live hear!

Coast is clear
We were very apprehensive about our week post Hurricane Helene. The host did a wonderful job keeping us updated and getting the house ready after the storm. We were able to spend a beautiful week at CSB and the host’s check in tips/suggestions were very helpful. The kids loved the upstairs room.

The condo was decorated very cute. The kitchen dishes were clean and everything was provided that we needdd. It did have a urine smell in two bathrooms and the den furniture looked unclean with stains making it hard to relax.

Absolutely Perfect
The location and views are both perfect. Its beach side and the master bedroom looks out over the beach. You couldnt be any closer. Both our girls absolutely loved the children's loft bedroom on the upper floor. And the cleanliness was great. About the only thing we could possibly critique is that the community turns on their sprinkler system at around 9am, which is the same time you are trying to pack your car and leave. We would definitely stay here again!
