"Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "

"We could not stay there very long, but we loved when we got to the room that they had a fire going. The room was lovely, and it felt very cozy. We got in late and were given a code to get into the room. After reading all the great reviews, we were very disappointed we had to leave before breakfast. We would definitely stay there again. "

"I'll start with the pros. The lodge is very open with lots of areas to spread everyone out. The game room downstairs was nice and the open floor plan on the main floor was perfect for our needs. The house was very clean, tidy and well laid out. Now the cons. The check in information was inaccurate. Particularly regarding what to do with trash. There were not extra blankets and the lodge is drafty. The towels needed fabric softener as the water is hard. The kitchen was good, but there were no...

"We have a large group that comes to Asheville every year to check out the brewery scene. The Wayward Moose Inn was perfect for us. The property was plenty big enough for the whole group and having the ability to schedule a shuttle ride to downtown was an added bonus. We’ll definitely be looking to stay here when we come back."
