"This property is great for peace and quiet. The damage in the area from hurricane Helene has shut down a lot of trails, waterfalls, and parks. However, it is still very beautiful and we will continue to travel to the area and hopefully stay at this retreat again. Right now it's smart to bring your own food, there aren't very many places to go out to eat unless you prefer fast food. The main highway also has a beautiful gift shop. "Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "

"We have a large group that comes to Asheville every year to check out the brewery scene. The Wayward Moose Inn was perfect for us. The property was plenty big enough for the whole group and having the ability to schedule a shuttle ride to downtown was an added bonus. We’ll definitely be looking to stay here when we come back."

"I'll start with the pros. The lodge is very open with lots of areas to spread everyone out. The game room downstairs was nice and the open floor plan on the main floor was perfect for our needs. "This property was outstanding! We loved everything about it! It is such a unique home....very spacious, with great flow for both together time & private get-away-from -it-all "me" time, both indoors & out.
