"Had the most relaxing weekend away in this beautiful cottage. Perfect locations for pubs, restaurants shops, walks, Chatsworth Christmas market and easy local buses to Bakewell. Liz was a fantastic host and helped so much. She recommended places to visit, eat and even provided us with takeaway options. "Spent a long weekend, Friday- Monday, with family in this comfortable,spacious cottage. Beautiful village that was a lot busier than I excepted. The cottage is close to the shops, pubs,restaurants and take away establishments. It is home from home with nearly everything you could possibly need "

"Very well renovated, cosy cottage with lots of nice original features. Some interesting walks from the village but other than that not much there to do. But short drives (about 30 mins) to many lovely places to visit. Great communication from owner. Upstairs bedrooms very luxurious but downstairs bedroom a bit cramped. Really lovely welcome basket.
