The house was clean enough for me to let my infant crawl around without worry which was a relief! The roads near the property are a ton of fun. I was surprised that the river was across the street from the cabin rather than in the yard but we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Great location, quiet, surrounded by state parks and trails. we hit sassafras's mountain, table rock , devils fork, jones gap and a few others, leaves were turning (1st week of October) saw deer, bears, hawks and 1 eagle
The Cabin was conveniently located between Table Rock, Lake Keowee and Lake Jocassee! Driveway had room for our pontoon and we enjoyed the our time making memories!! Cabin was clean and the hottub was a bonus!! Will definitely stay again when headed to the area!
We had such a great time at this property. Framing being able to walk outside and hear the calming sound of the stream right across from the property. Not having a busy road made it seem like we were really the only ones at there even being only 15 minutes from town. The house it self was beautiful and fit our needs wonderfully
This was our first time in South Carolina and I have to say it did not disappoint! The cabin was very clean and nice. The guy was super nice and introduced himself as soon as we arrived. He was very helpful and encouraged us to contact him if we needed anything during our stay. Since we had never been to South Carolina he was very helpful in suggesting places that we should visits. Overall I would give this cabin and host a 10/10.
We absolutely fell in love with this place! There is no WiFi and no cell reception, which was exactly what we wanted. You just drive a little ways down the road if you need reception. There is a deck over a river, a hot tub, and TV to keep you entertained. It was 30 minutes to shopping and 30 minutes to Lake Jocassee, which was just fine for a week of vacation. Ben was super communitive and even checked in to make sure we had what we needed. He had physcial maps and directions to all the attractions and shopping centers there. The place was spacious, super clean, and had plenty of towels and linen. We CAN NOT wait to go back!!
We really enjoyed this location. It is private enough for quiet evenings and close enough to local state parks and historical sites that appeal to children. Host was gracious and helpful. We really had opportunity to make good memories with our granddaughters.
Very serene and relaxing, not much traffic on the road and no city lights to disrupt star gazing. A little hard to find in the dark so leave outdoor lights on when you leave! The cabin was clean and tidy and Ben was a great host.

Great Location
This is a fantastic location if you want to visit sparkling blue lakes! The hot tub was lovely and accommodations comfortable. You should know there is no reception or wifi so be prepared for a completely offline retreat!
Very roomy quiet location. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Access to the deck over the trout stream was really nice. Will definitely go back.
We chose Ben's cabin for a weekend getaway for my husband's birthday, and it did not disappoint! We were halfway between Table Rock and Keowee Toxaway with Lake Jocassee just a short drive away. The lack of cell signal and wifi was awesome!! It's easier to relax when you can complete disconnect, and this fit the bill. Also, Ben was polite and helpful!
There was no cellphone service or wifi, so it made for the perfect weekend away. The property and house were just so cozy, and the creek with deck access across the street were perfect to relax by.
