It was so peaceful- you have houses right beside you but it didn’t seem like anyone was staying there - the cabin was small and cozy - bed was comfy (pillows were firm if you want to bring your own). The view of the lake was amazing! We brought our boat and used the boathouse for the week - a huge plus- the biggest negative would be the driveway - especially if you are hauling a boat- you will need to back down into the driveway- it’s a bit steep...

"The House is convenient for the Interstate and thus most of Birmingham is a few minutes away.The house was built in 1935 and has been sympathetically updated while still retaining the more classic feel. Although a little early in the season it has a huge porch showing where people used to spend time before AC.The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook for yourself.In general a great stay."

"Everything was so clean and nicely decorated. The description by the owner is spot on. We met the owners and they are super nice people. The lake is beautiful. The swimming was nice and refreshing. The outdoor water mat, kayak’s, paddle boards and paddle boats provided made the trip more enjoyable especially since we didn’t have to bring our own. There’s a nice boat launch and swimming pier.
