"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "This property and the hosts are full of warmth and character. They made us feel very welcome. The wood-burning stove in the dining room was wonderful to sit by. The breakfast was delicious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we slept soundly. The property is close to a busy road. However, the road is recently resurfaced and we slept peacefully."
