"We frequently stay in holiday properties and so know what you can get for £140 / night and sadly this was not up to the standards we would expect. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. It was not clean, the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy, under the furniture were dead woodlouse and other remnants of insects, cobwebs everywhere and the lavatory off the main bedroom was very poorly cleaned. "Used this home as a base for a weekend in the Peak District, with 5 other couples. The building is stunning, kitchen is well stocked with appliances and other items. 2 fridge/freezers which were handy. Lots of spaces to relax and the hot tub was fantastic. WiFi is poor in wider areas of the house but excellent within the room of the house the modem is in. However, this is expected in a building of this size and didn’t ruin the weekend at all. "Very good location for 6-10 mile hikes with wonderfully far reaching views on a clear day,The house was fine however would benefit from having more mugs and glasses, also its own heating controls. Very helpful owners live in one end of the building "

"Super cute house in a quaint, hilly area! The host was very responsive and super nice. The hot tub was clean and warm and the house felt very comfortable in general, being well stocked with kitchen and cleaning supplies, games, towels, and bedding. I thought it was adorable and a cozy stay for a few days. I would definitely go back to explore the local area and hiking more. "
